LSU Baton Rouge Emergency Medicine Residency Program

Welcome to the LSU Baton Rouge Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Program.

Based out of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, the regional trauma center for Baton Rouge and the surrounding region, our program has much to offer. The Emergency Department sees 125,000+ visits a year and a wide range of pathology.

Our goal is to train highly competent physicians who will go on to serve their communities and expand the use of point-of-care ultrasound technology. To help achieve this goal, we have developed a curriculum which includes not only honing emergency ultrasound skills, but also quality assurance, teaching and administration.

Fellows coming to this program will benefit from having four trained EUS faculty members from different backgrounds and styles to learn from. In addition, the fellow will have dedicated 1:1 bedside education, teaching and research development time.
Thank you for considering our program. We look forward to meeting you.
