Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

Welcome to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship webpage. We are a new cutting edge fellowship having come into creation 2016.

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is a 400 bed level one trauma center serving as the tertiary care facility for Northern New England. Our hospital is located in Lebanon, New Hampshire and serves as the primary training facility for the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth located 2 miles away in quaint Hanover NH. The emergency department sees 35,000 patients per year with an admission rate of 20% and hosts our 3 year emergency medicine residency which enrolled its first class of 6 residents in 2012.

As a tertiary referral center, our ED population is socioeconomically diverse and pathology is broad. Our older and quite sick population provides ample opportunity for many ultrasound guided procedures and pathologic findings.
