Travelling to Tucson

Getting to Tucson

Tucson International Airport (TUS)

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)

Alternatively, you may also fly into Phoenix and drive to Tucson.

On average, the drive from the Phoenix airport to the conference venue is approximately 2 hours. Anticipate some delays if driving during rush hour as Phoenix traffic can get quite heavy. Overall, an easy (but boring!) drive. You can rent a car at the airport or take one of several Phoenix-to-Tucson shuttles that are available:

Streetcar

Tucson’s streetcar, the Sun Link is a convenient way to get around the downtown and University area. Perfect if you are staying nearby! Use the link below for more information on using the streetcar.

E-Scooters

These just became available for rent in the downtown and University area September of 2019. Tucson drivers are pretty aloof in general and we are not quite confident they will handle sharing the road with e-scooters well so please ride these with caution!
