Ultrasound Fellowship Education

Fellows work 18-20 clinical hours per week (2 shifts) as an attending physician in the emergency department supervising Geisel medical students and a myriad of resident specialties.

In addition fellows are expected to spend 8 hours per week, excluding vacation, performing point of care ultrasound with one of the co-directors accompanied by junior residents/medical students on rotation in the ED.

Image review occurs every week for 4 hours with one of the co-directors. The fellow will run image review and is responsible for generating feedback to all residents and faculty through Qpath.
