Type of Program

Maine Medical Center (MMC) is a 637-bed teaching hospital with >70,000 annual ED visits and is the only Level I trauma center in the state of Maine. The MMC ED is the primary training site for a 3-year emergency medicine residency program which trains 10 residents per year. The hospital is affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine and serves as a clinical teaching site for 3rd and 4th year medical students.
