Program Description

Welcome to the Crozer Chester Medical Center Ultrasound Fellowship. We are located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania a short commute from Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Northern Delaware. Our hospital is a designated regional trauma, burn, stroke, and cardiac referral center. We see roughly 55k patients per year at Crozer Chester Medical Center and 120k per year between our 4 hospital systems emergency departments. Our main emergency department has 6 resuscitation rooms, 27 main ED beds, and 3 super track chairs. We have a new and growing department and ultrasound division. Our residency graduated our first class and began training our first ultrasound fellow in 2019. Since then our US division has grown from a division of 1 faculty to 4 faculty and 2 fellows. Our goal is to train outstanding emergency ultrasonographers, clinicians, teachers, and researchers.

As the field of Point of Care Ultrasonography continues to evolve, we are committed to evolving with it. Our Fellowship will include education in the evolving fields of resuscitative TEE and Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
