Welcome to the SUNY Upstate Medical University Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship!!
Our goal is to provide you with the skills to become an excellent sonographer and the experience to incorporate ultrasound into Emergency Medicine practice.
At SUNY Upstate Medical University, you will have the opportunity to practice emergency ultrasound in various settings: our main university level 1 trauma Emergency Department, our Pediatric Emergency department, and our community Emergency Department.
Our Department also sponsors the Emergency Medicine Residency at the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala, India and fellows have the opportunity to rotate there if they have an interest in international and developing world applications of bedside ultrasound.
