Welcome to the Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship program at the University of Florida College of Medicine- Jacksonville. We offer a 1-year EUFAC accredited fellowship program in a high-volume, inner-city emergency department with the only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center in the region. Boasting the top-rated emergency medicine training program in Florida by Doximity (2020), the University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine was founded in 1975 and sees over 120,000 patient visits per year between our busy metropolitan academic health center and our community hospital sites. With an impressive array of pathology and academic opportunities, UF-Jacksonville provides a diverse educational experience with emphasis on clinical hands-on practice, teaching at the local and national level and experience with program development, management, and research.

Jacksonville is located in the Northeastern corner of Florida with access to the Atlantic Ocean and an abundance of warm sunny weather. We are known for our active outdoor lifestyle including boating on the St. Johns River, kayaking/canoeing in state parks or just soaking up the sun on one of our beautiful beaches. Jacksonville is also host several major sporting events including the NFL Jaguar football team, the Gate River run and the PGA Tour, Players Championship, as well as many concerts and art events.
