Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University

The Center for Ultrasound Education is a University-wide center in the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. We are responsible for the ultrasound training of all medical students (8th largest medical school) and residents at Augusta University. We offer a 1 year fellowship in advanced point of care ultrasound. This fellowship is unique for a variety of reasons. We offer in-depth POCUS training in a wide variety of settings: all critical care units, ED, low resource settings (international locations) and out of hospital (disaster, tactical, EMS). Our Ultrasound Fellowship stared in 2003 and we have a long history of training exceptional physician sonographers.
