Rutgers New Jersey Medical School

Thank you for your consideration of our Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. We look forward to meeting you. Our fellowship seeks to engage and inspire our Fellows in the following four pillars: 1) clinical and technical acumen 2) education theory and curricular design 3) administration, including devising departmental protocol and billing/revenue systems 4) research and scholarly achievement. By the end of fellowship, graduates will have all the tools necessary to run an Ultrasound Division and serve as future leaders in our field.

Our ultrasound faculty is extremely dedicated to student, resident, and faculty education. Faculty members have protected clinical time to provide POCUS education, academic support, and tailoring of the fellowship towards the Fellow's specific goals. We are intimately involved in the medical school through our administration of the longitudinal MS1-4 ultrasound curriculum, specialty-specific electives, and Ultrasound Interest Group. We also provide regular lectures at resident conference, administer both required rotations and advanced electives, and moderate the highly popular monthly Ultrasound Rounds. Our division also has significant departmental resources, research support, and mentorship.

Fellows and residents choose to live in New York City or in one of the many beautiful north Jersey suburbs!
