Educational Experience

Ultrasound education is delivered in the Department of Emergency Medicine by faculty with years of ultrasound experience. Quality assurance video review sessions are held where all EM ultrasound examinations are reviewed by emergency ultrasound faculty in conjunction with the fellows in training. Fellows are also exposed to multiple additional courses and training opportunities throughout their fellowship. The Ultrasound Division hosts its own grand rounds program inviting ultrasound experts from various specialties from around the country.
