Fellowship Program

Length of Fellowship:

1 year


4.5 monthly shifts (7.5, 8, or 9 hours) with annual salary of $71,546
If desired, the fellow can increase salary by picking up shifts via internal or external moonlighting, and still stay well below the AEMUS fellowship limit of 20 clinical hours/week.
For example, working an additional two shifts each month above the 4.5 shift/month base would augment above salary by $35-45,000 for a total annual salary ranging $106-113,000.

480 contracted, with opportunity for moonlighting

Other Duties

In general, we follow ABEM's program requirements, expecting independent scanning time as well as 20 hours/month of 1:1 bedside teaching with students, residents, and faculty.

Educational Experience

We have forged relationships with echo/vascular lab and anesthesia staff to provide advanced ultrasound training in echocardiography, including transesophageal.

Images are reviewed via QpathE ultrasound software. All fellow images are reviewed by ultrasound faculty
