Total compensation >$120,000 + moonlighting opportunities if in good academic standing

Average of 17hrs/week

Other Duties

Fellow helps to teach EM residents on clinical scanning shifts, provides a portion of the monthly ultrasound grand rounds, participate in department QA and provides monthly QA review lecture, helps run monthly attending ultrasound review, and will have opportunities to broaden teaching experience to other specialties as well as local and regional conferences. Fellow will be expected to pursue an original research project during their fellowship.

Hi-Desert Medical Center - 5 clinical shifts (with residents)
Desert Regional Medical Center - Didactics, scanning shifts, 2 clinical shifts (with residents)

Educational Experience

Three faculty members with a variety of interests providing a broad educational experience. Fellow has weekly didactics, clinical scanning shifts, & QA sessions with program director and faculty.

Image Review

QPath is used for image review. Ultrasound faculty is responsible for weekly review which the fellow is involved in progressively over the year with more exposure to administrative tasks.
