Paid as a PGY4 or PGY5 with opportunities for internal moonlighting at $185.00/hr
Additional Funds
$3000.00 in CME funding
Number of Clinical Hours:
6 shifts a month required with a likely guarantee of 2 more shifts (if desired) paid hourly.
Other Duties
The fellow will be heavily involved in resident and medical student education. The fellow will likely have weekly scanning sessions with residents where they will hone their teaching skills. Fellows will be an active part of QAing resident ultrasounds. There will be multiple times a year where the fellow will have the opportunity to lecture on topics of their choice to the residency during their weekly conferences.
Number of Sites
The fellow will be working at the University of Chicago Medical Center for both clinical hours as well as ultrasound training.

Educational Experience
Our fellows will receive 1-on-1 training in image acquisition and interpretation, teaching, ultrasound administration, and quality assurance by our ultrasound fellowship trained faculty. There may also be opportunities for our fellow to train in the Echo lab as well as with the OB/Gyn department.
