Additional Funds
Reimbursement for reasonable license, hospital fees, DEA, and society membership dues. In addition, the fellow receive reimbursement for reasonable continuing medical education expenses.
Number of Clinical Hours:
21 clinical hours per week.
Other Duties
Dedicated POCUS scanning sessions of active ED patients with core ultrasound, approximately 32 hours /month with a goal of 1000 scans in the year. Dedicated POCUS scanning sessions for instruction and teaching of other learners as well as PEM faculty. Completion of a scholarly project.

Norton Children's Hospital, Norton Children's Medical Center both located in Louisville, KY. Other hospitals in the Norton Healthcare system & the University of Louisville Hospital.

Educational Experience

Outside Ultrasound rotations to include: Pediatric Cardiology, PICU, & University of Louisville Emergency Department and may include Vascular lab, Pediatric Radiology, & OB/GYN rotations. Required media: selections include reading, listening and viewing resources.
