Is there a dedicated US month?

Our residents have a longitudinal curriculum interspersed throughout their training. By then end of their residency, they have had specific instruction on all US modalities as recommended by the CORD/AEUS guidelines. This includes a 2 week ultrasound rotation during the PGY-1 year, which covers many of the basics of Emergency Ultrasound, and a second 1-week Advanced Ultrasound Rotation that occurs during the PGY-3 year, which is based at the University of Colorado Hospital Emergency Department. There are also multiple ultrasound topics integrated into the general didactic curriculum, as well as numerous ultrasound electives available.

Is there an US elective?
