Program Ultrasound Project
Massachusetts General Hospital
Both Drs. Liteplo and Shokoohi lecture extensively nationally and internationally. They are both involved in ACEP, SAEM, AIUM, WINFOCUS, and other national organizations.
Lectures are given by our division to the residents as part of their core curriculum. We also inservice emergency medicine interns, surgical residents, and pulmonary and critical care fellows, amongst others.
We routinely participate in numerous courses given every year through the Harvard CME office--Emergency Medicine in the 21st Century, Emergency Medicine Updates, and Bedside Emergency Utlrasound. In addition, we lecture for the department of surgery at some of their courses.
Mini-fellowships are offered on a case-by-case basis.
As a co-founder, Dr. Liteplo has been heavily involved in creation and organization of the SonoGames at SAEM.
