Program Ultrasound Project
Riverside Community Hospital
Ultrasound faculty give lectures at national meetings (including AIUM, SAEM, ACEP, and SCUF), regional meetings (including UltraFest, and Southwest Ultrasound Regional Fellows conference-SURF), as well as local invited residency lectures.
Ultrasound faculty provide lectures and workshops for various Hospital GME residency programs (both residents and attending).
Ultrasound faculty teach in national and regional ultrasound courses (including ACEP Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Lab, Sound & Surf Ultrasound, Original EM Boot Camp Hands-On Emergency Ultrasound Workshop), as well as local ultrasound courses through the University of California Riverside School of Medicine to various community groups (e.g. EMS, PA, and various residency programs).
Dr. Friedman is also the Co-Director of the Vituity partnership ultrasound education, which involves organizing the CME Spring Symposiums and Partnership Meeting ultrasound workshops.
An Ultrasound elective is offered to Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Transitional Year residents, as well as a mandatory ultrasound rotation for Anesthesia residents.
