Program Ultrasound Project
Stanford University /Stanford Health Care
Many local and international lectures have been given by Stanford's US faculty.
We have also collaborated with our International Emergency Medicine program, assisting with courses given around the world, including India, Guatemala, Honduras, St. Lucia, Haiti, and the Middle east.
ACEP lectures are always supported by our US faculty.
There is a dedicated US core curriculum within weekly resident Core Conference. We also give lectures to medical students during their anatomy class, practice of medicine courses, and clinical years. We also perform 2-3 faculty US workshops through our faculty development curriculum.
Stanford is also very involved in CME. We hold a biannual Ultrasound Seminar, and a national Emergency Medicine Ultrasound training course in Hawaii. We also teach other ultrasound courses at Stanford Medical School (including the annual UltraFest), as well as other regional, ACEP, and private courses.
A Visting Scholars Program began in 2015 for community or international physicians to learn ultrasound and US admin
