Number of hours didactics
Residents receive dedicated US education each year of residency. This includes online didactics, scanning with a sonographer in the IUSM POCUS lab, scanning with fellows and faculty during the US/Anesthesia rotation in their intern year. There are several POCUS training events held throughout the year.
