Type of Program

Our goal is to create an inclusive community of Advanced Emergency Ultrasound experts that represent and care for our diverse community.

Located in Central Florida, Osceola Regional Medical Center
has become a robust GME facility with residencies in specialties like Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Neurology, Endocrinology, and more.

Fellows will work closely with the UCF College of Medicine and their ultrasound education. Our Emergency Medicine Program is affiliated to the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, under the UCF/HCA GME Consortium.

Training will take place at the Osceola Regional Medical Center campus a Level 2 Trauma Center with over 60,000 patients annually located in one of the fastest-growing suburban communities in the area, with close proximity to the Orlando International Airport, Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios attractions.

Ultrasound Fellowship Education

1 year program designed to give emergency medicine board eligible candidates the skills and knowledge necessary become ultrasound directors, innovators, educators, and leaders in the field of emergency ultrasound.

The fellow will serve as junior faculty in Osceola Regional Medical Center to the Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
The fellow will have the opportunity to:
-Participate in resident education
-Learn the basic and advanced modalities of ultrasound
-Participate in monthly journal club/article teaching/discussion
-Participate in intern ultrasound boot camp course
-Participate and collaborate in Simulation education
-Help improve ultrasound education distribution
-Help in the maintenance and credentialing of clinical and core faculty
-Create, publish, and present research projects in local and national levels
-Help advance education in ways never before imagined by combining ultrasound and simulation
-Collaborate in the education of medical students
-Participate in education of UCF College of Medicine
-Expand your CV and Scholarly Activity to remain competitive
