Educational Resources
The department's library contains numerous books and electronic media covering general ultrasound, emergency ultrasound, echocardiography, anesthesiology, and others. We also work very closely with 2 Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowships at Children's National Medical Center and Inova Fairfax Hospital. Simulators include Blue Phantom vascular, central venous access, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and endovaginal phantoms. We also have a Heartworks transesophageal and transthoracic echo simulator
