Varies per resident. Each resident is encouraged to scan as much as possible. Ranges from 150-300 per 4-week block.

Yes. Available to PGY-3/4 residents. This elective may also be taken by interested medical and pediatric residents, and 4th year medical students.

The residents scan 6 hours per day approximately four times per week. The resident ultrasound rotation is four weeks long and takes place during intern year.

Approximately 2 hours per week. We hold our ultrasound conference on Thursday afternoons.
