Fellows will have the opportunity to scan with the EUS faculty, on their own, and with the residents and medical students. There will be opportunities to work with other services such as cardiology/echo, pediatric emergency medicine, and critical care.
Weekly ultrasound review will be the educational focal point of the fellowship. Fellows, rotating residents, off-service staff, and medical students will be expected to attend. All ED scans will be reviewed and critiqued. Sessions will also include EUS journal club as well as didactics.
