Duke offers a 1-year faculty fellowship program in which fellows serve as half-time attending physicians at Duke University Hospital while pursuing the educational and research opportunities of the fellowship. Duke University Hospital is a level 1 trauma center and academic tertiary and quaternary care center that has been consistently ranked #1 in North Carolina and among the best in the nation by US News and World Reports.

Fellows will train in a world-class facility with a diverse patient population, state-of-the-art comprehensive simulators, and novel, cutting-edge research with opportunities to teach emergency ultrasound to faculty, non-EM fellows, residents, PAs/NPs, RNs and medical students.
