Proposal and development of a novel US research project
Contribution to at least one existing research project as co-author

Teaching an US-guided IV course for RNs
Teaching medical students during the longitudinal US course, Acute Care course, sub-internship rotation, and US senior elective
Potential global health collaborations with the GEMINI lab in the Duke Global Health Institute (ongoing partnership with Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Tanzania)
Educational Experience
Fellows will receive one-on-one bedside training with US faculty in addition to independent scanning shifts in the Duke ED. These experiences will be complemented by Vimedix clinical simulator training, TEE scanning in the OR, and other local collaborations as desired by the fellow, such as reading time in the echo lab or OR time with regional anesthesiology.
