Ultrasound Fellowship Education
Our fellowship is a one-year experience for Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physicians. We aim to train leaders in PEM ultrasound education, research, and management. The fellow's curriculum will consist of scanning shifts supervised by ultrasound faculty at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (San Francisco and Oakland), and at our other clinical sites (UCSF Medical Center and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital [ZSFG] emergency departments), as well as individualized video review, didactic sessions and opportunities for rotations in other departments.

Our planned interview dates for 2024 are 9/23/24 and 9/26/24.
Prior to the start of the fellowship, fellows must:
Be a graduate of an ACGME-approved Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship program (can be EM or Pediatrics residency trained).
Be board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Possess a California Medical License and a valid DEA license in order to begin the training program
