Educational duties such as teaching nurses, medical students and off-service residents.
Designing curriculum for gamification (i.e. ultrasound escape rooms), asynchronous learning oversight (CoreUltrasound.Com curriculum), quality improvement project involvement and weekly scholarly activity involvement.

Additional Opportunities
Off service ultrasound activities can be customized to fit the educational goals of the fellow. Significant opportunities for a Fellow interested in Wilderness Medicine and/or practicing in low-resource settings and a heavy pediatrics curriculum.
Educational Experience
Heavy emphasis on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (UGRA) and nerve blocks. Dedicated OR time, faculty sim/seminars, resident lectures and research tailored to expanding Fellows' nerve block skills. We engage in a Nerve Block Challenge starting the second month of the Fellowship and are working on a joint venture for catheter placement in the ED for Erector Spinae Blocks.
TEE Program: we currently have a resuscitative TEE program with 3 dedicated TEE probes in the ED.
Image Review
Weekly QA with residents and medical students on their EUS Rotation, we use QPathE. Fellows will have guided and graded responsibility for quality assessment of junior learners' studies.
