Is there a dedicated US month?
There is a dedicated two-week rotation during the EM-1 year, during which each resident completes over 125 scans. We have also added in four dedicated scanning shifts in the EM-2 year.

Other Information
Several fourth-year residents each year choose ultrasound as their subspecialty track. They focus additional clinical time in this area and assist with QA and research projects. This helps the fellow with patient enrollment in studies and brings greater depth to the clinical program.
