Type of Program

Advocate Christ Medical Center is a 782-bed hospital Level 1 Trauma Center located in Oak Lawn, just southwest of Chicago. The emergency department (ED) serves the south side of Chicago, south and southwest suburbs, caring for approximately 120,000 patients visits and over 4500 trauma activations per year. The ED is staffed by a diversified academic attending group and is the training center for the Christ Medical Center Emergency Medicine residency-training program, affiliated with the University of Illinois Medical Center.
