Intern US/On-boarding month: 2 dedicated US weeks in July. During the EM2 rotation: 3 weeks of dedicated US scan time in the 2nd year.

Intern US/On-boarding month: >20 hours/week of dedicated hands-on scan time with faculty. During the EM2 rotation: >12 hours/week of dedicated hands-on scan time with faculty.

Intern US/On-boarding month: 2 hours/week, and 3-4 hours/week during the EM2 rotation. US studies are also reviewed for residents weekly and feedback given electronically.
Number of hours didactics
Asynchronous didactics occur during the Intern US/On-boarding month as well as the EM2 rotation, plus incorporation into the resident Orthopedic rotation (MSK and nerve block applications).
Other Information
EM1 Resus Rotation: addition ultrasound didactics and scan time dedicated to critical care and procedural ultrasound
EM2 Ortho Rotation: additional ultrasound didactics related to MSK and nerve blocks
