Joni Rabiner, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in Emergency Medicine at CUMC. Her academic focus is on point-of-care ultrasound in the pediatric emergency department to improve the care of patients. She is Director for the Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship and Director of PEM Fellow Ultrasound Education. Research interests include musculoskeletal (elbow, skull, ankle), lung, and soft tissue ultrasound. She has been an invited speaker and faculty at ultrasound conferences and workshops regionally, nationally, and internationally. She also has a strong interest in global health, serving as a telemedicine consult for point-of-care ultrasound cases for Doctors Without Borders and traveling for medical missions and teaching in Haiti, Zimbabwe, and the Philippines.
