Personal portable hand-held ultrasound
$3,500 CME stipend
Funded travel for accepted research
Dedicated ultrasound fellow desk in EM offices

6, 8-hour shifts/month (with the opportunity to moonlight two additional shifts at the attending hourly rate)

Education Duties:
Scan shifts: 1/week
Conference (didactics, EBM review, and image review): 4-5 hours/week
Deliver 1 Grand Rounds lecture

Primary Teaching Duties:
Instruct EM PGY-1 and PGY-3 on the ultrasound rotation
Lecture and teach at local, regional, national educational offerings
Serve as the Course Director for one US CME course
Complete one educational design project

Administrative Duties:
Assist with ultrasound program administration (machine maintenance, departmental and hospital wide meetings, billing and documentation)
Assist with departmental quality assurance
Complete one administrative/quality improvement project

Scholarly Duties:
Complete 1 research project

Fellows will also have opportunities to teach and lecture at ultrasound courses given locally, regionally, and nationally.

Clinical and educational studies are uploaded to a hospital wide cloud-based system. Image review is performed weekly at US conference.
