Outside Lectures

Our fellows travel extensively with our team to teach and lecture.

We attend all major regional and national conferences including SURF, SCUF, ACEP, AIUM, Sound and Surf, Rocky Mountain Winter Conference, and SAEM.

Fellows will additionally have the opportunity to teach and lecture in several local mountain towns throughout Colorado such as Montrose, Vail, and Beaver Creek.

Internal Lectures

Our fellows give numerous internal lectures throughout the year to a wide variety of learners including:
- EM residents and faculty
- Pediatric residents
- EM and Urgent Care advanced practice providers
- Medical students.

Additionally, each fellow will deliver a Grand Rounds lecture at the end of the year.

We work closely with our fellows throughout the year to refine lecture presentation design and delivery based on contemporary educational principles.

Ultrasound Courses

Our fellows will have experience serving as the Course Director for 1 CME offering during the year.

Fellows also lecture and teach hand-ons in many US Courses at Denver Health, throughout the Rocky Mountain region, as well as national courses with which our faculty are affiliated.

Mini-selective

We highly encourage and support our fellows to pursue any interests within the subspecialty. In the past, fellows have sought opportunities for further training in:

TEE
Critical Care Echo
Nerve Blocks
US Program Management
Educational Design and Innovation

We will work with you to create any ultrasound selective or opportunity that you'd like to pursue!
