EM residents have a total of 4 weeks of dedicated ED US. Two 2-week blocks as a 1st and 2nd year resident. Also an elective option in final year of residency.

Tape review is held on a weekly basis to review all scans performed in the department. 6-8 hours weekly.

Residents/fellows are required to attend an Introduction to Emergency Ultrasound course, have 1-2 hours of didactics during monthly EM conference, and receive multiple didactic/hands-on sessions during weekly fellowship meeting.
