Is there a dedicated US month?
Our residents have a longitudinal curriculum interspersed throughout their training that covers all aspects of point of care ultrasound including image acquisition, image interpretation, and clinical integration.
This includes a 2 week US rotation during their PGY-1 year which covers essential ultrasound applications. All residents also participate in a residency wide (all programs) point of care ultrasound bootcamp at the beginning of intern year.
Ultrasound topics are integrated into the yearly curriculum including both lectures and simulation time.
