Number of Clinical Hours
Average 20 hrs/week over 46 weeks in 52 week year (~1040hr/yr)
Clinical rotations are structured as 3 month blocks. Alternating 3 months NYU sites (Tisch, Cobble, Brooklyn) and 3 months Bellevue. 1/3 shifts are weekends/ nights for all attendings. ShiftAdmin used for scheduling. 1 weekend request per month. Holidays are ranked in preference of groups of 3 (ie. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.) 8 hour clinical shifts.
Moonlighting available within institution at all clinical sites and virtual urgent care (VUC) if fellowship duties are met and approved by fellowship director at attending rates. Encouraged only after 2nd half of the year.

Image Review
Frequent image review of all scans performed in the emergency department. We maintain a high standard of quality and are able to provide useful, immediate feedback to our residents and faculty to enhance their continued development.
Deadline for Fellowship Application
Applications are rolling and we recommend applying asap. We start interviews in August. Interviews are given out on a first come first serve basis. Your CV and Cover letter must be uploaded for consideration. Recommend 3 LORs should be in by time of interview date.
